Featuring the Take Your Pick Tool!

I've been featuring the Take Your Pick tool from Stampin' Up! on my website all week.  What a fabulous tool!!  It scores, it picks up sequins and jewels, and picks up glue dots, all in several different ends of the tool.  Here's a picture of thee tool:

Do you see all of the ends?  They pop in and out of the ends with a simple twist-and-lock mechanism.  Wow!!

Here's a Halloween card that I received it in a swap last week, made by Shannon Criado.  I LOVE this card and I know my class ladies love the "looks complicated but SO easy" fancy fold! There are a few elements on this card that could be made with this fun and useful tool including the scoring tip and the putty tip to place the sequins.

Here's the recipe:
  • Basic Black c/s, 8 1/2" x 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2"
  • Lemon Lime Twist c/s 4" x 5 1/4", scored every 3/8" or embossed with the Simple Stripes folder and the Big Shot
  • Basic Black c/s, 8" x 3", scored at 4"
  • Whisper White c/s, 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
  • Best Route DSP 2 3/4" x 4"
  • Gray Granite c/s for image mat, 2 7/8" x 3 7/8"
  • Whisper White Stitched Oval(I think the 2nd largest), cut with Big Shot, stamped with cat from Trick or Tweet stamp set and colored in with markers or blends
  • Whisper White scrap for sentiment, 2" x 1", stamped with sentiment.
  • Finish off the card with Lemon Lime Twist Ruffled Ribbon and Black sequins!

Enjoy!  (See my supply list below).

*Anyone that places an order for $35 or more using the hostess code G2BJ2DZ4 will be entered to win a Take Your Pick tool from me.  You must enter your order by Sunday night as I will be closing the September Hostess code at that time.

Our Sept 15th 2018 One-Day Retreat Preview!

I've been so busy planning for next week's one-day retreat with my upline, Marilyn SanClemente but thought I should give some sneak peeks of what's happening!

Below are a few pictures taken at past events:

We're so excited about this event's "goody bag" -- $25 of pure Stampin' Up! goodness!!  Check out the photo below! And that's only part of our day!  1/2 package of the Joyous Noel specialty DSP, some of the new Merry Merlot and Copper 5/8" reversible ribbon, a yard of the Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon, a selection of the Snowflakes and Stars wire elements, a sheet of the new Joyous Noel 6x6" Glimmer Paper, a collection of cardstock to match the Designer Series Paper, and even 1/3 sheet of copper foil.  That's only part of what you'll be getting on that day -- treats specially packaged, lunch and snacks through the day, raffles that you WON'T want to miss, games etc!

You can register HERE (Marilyn's website) until Sept. 9th, 2018.

And then there are the classes!  I'm so excited about my class:  I'm using the Santa's Workshop Memories and More card kit with the Real Red matching card bases and envelopes.  You'll be making 10 cards in class, but the class includes a WHOLE pack of the Memories and More kit, the card bases and envelopes, and even some red rhinestones.  Check out a sneak peek below!  You're only using part of the package -- you can duplicate to make more cards, or use the remaining stickers and cards to even make gift tags.  I'll have ideas posted on my board at the event that day.  The cost of this class is $36 -- register HERE for my class (and other classes we're teaching throughout the day, *on Marilyn's website again)  *You must register for these classes by Sept. 9th 2018 so we have time to order supplies and do the prep work!  (If you register for this class through this link, we're also offering a deal on the Timeless Tidings stamp set when included with the class -- the class with the stamp set is $56, a savings of 15% on the stamp set!)

I hope this is enticing if you live in the area of Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.  The event is at the Tewksbury Congregational Church in Tewksbury Massachusetts and is quite easy to get to.  We'd love to have you join us!  Again, the link to join us is HERE, and we need you to sign up by Sunday, Sept. 9th, 2018.
